The main salon is 23 ft long.
With the flush decks, large sky
lights, 6’6” head room and
10 port lights. There is more
than adequate natural lighting.
The centerboard housing separates the
Galley and companionway.
The desk is 5 ft long and has a green butterfly
granite top. It has 8 large drawers, one
of which is a legal size filing cabinet.
There is a computer, monitor, printer,
mounted behind the desk. A DVD player
and a media tank, which can play any
format, from hard drives or zip drives.
The flat screen TV is on an articulating
mount, which allows the TV to be
comfortably watched from the couches
or the main settee.
There is a normal set of stairs
leading to the pilothouse, made
from 3/4” solid teak.
The companionway is 4 ft wide.
The ceiling is white marine
naugahyde over 3/8 foam on
1/4” plywood panels.
There is styrofoam insulation
between the beams. This has
been effective in keeping the
salon cool in hot weather and
retaining heat in cold or freezing
weather.
There is a 15000 btu air conditioner
mounted on the forward sky light.
The main compression post made
from 5” sch 80 aluminum pipe. It is
covered in 1/2” thick book matched
teak strips.
